investment industries, earning a reputation for integrity and entrepreneurial
Mr. Goodman is also a Managing Director and co-founder of Conyers Group LLC,
advising hedge fund managers on business strategy and organization. He serves as
an independent Director/Trustee and advisor to BDCs, SPACs, asset management
firms and hedge funds. Mr. Goodman began his career at Pasternak, Baum and
Co., Inc., a global dealer of cash commodities where he was a Vice President and
Director. In 1983, he left to form The Kenmar Group, an independent fund of
funds manager where he served as President and Co-Chief Investment Officer until
the firm was sold in 2014.
Mr. Goodman is the Chairman of the Stacy Joy Goodman Memorial Foundation, a
non-profit charity he co-founded in 1994 in memory of his daughter Stacy, who
passed away at the age of 17 due to complications from Type-1 diabetes. The
Foundation is committed to finding a cure for this disease. Mr. Goodman is also a
Director, member of the Executive Committee, and a past Chairman, of the
Diabetes Research Institute Foundation.
Mr. Goodman graduated from the Bernard M. Baruch School of Business of the
City University of New York with a BBA degree and an MBA in Finance and
Investments. He was awarded an Economics and Finance Department Fellowship
during his studies.
